Blessing the Fleet on Newcastle Harbour
A top day to be blessed!!!
It was a +30 degree, +15knot NW and a flood boosted runout tide…..almost passed the yachts in the parade without paddling. The tugboat ballet almost had the crew wanting to do some wash-riding.
12 paddlers managed to overcome the ravages of Xmas party celebrations etc (eternal damnation to the rest of you)…….but no blessing could be sufficient for this lot but they did look the part and no doubt the peasants lining the foreshore will not forget the tormented bodies….see attached pictures, more to come …Rae, Petra & George, Troy, Pip & Jeremy, Kathy, Lindsay, jen V, Brett, Chris, Steve
As usual, Cheffie was a highlight with his pirate’s clobber and stuffed talking parrot….didn’t look too outa place at the Yacht Club afterwards where we had to partake of a cleansing ale
